Hardcore Survival Server - Survival Guide

A Guide to Surviving the Wild

Hardcore Survival is an all or nothing server. There are almost no rules and the only person you can rely on is yourself!
HCSurvival Offers Towny protection, but is very expensive. The first plot is given to you for free, so you can start your adventure safely.
PvP is enabled globally, you are only safe from players and mobs within town borders, including the small server regions. HCSurvival is designed around having as few plugins as possible to keep it as difficult but natural as possible to keep with Minecrafts original concept (While playing with friends)

Survival Tips

  • Choose wisely where you found your first towny protection, it is a very expensive mistake to make.
  • Be careful who you trust to join your town, theft and griefing aren't (except for extreme circumstances) protected by rules.
  • There are NO SHOPS to purchase items such as building blocks and food from. Make your food last, avoid damage at all costs.
  • Expanding your town will cost a lot of money, which will take a while to earn AND will require you give up on making lots of tools and armor. Because of this, perhaps keeping your town small in physical size is better.
  • If you want large, we advise 2x2 plot area and work Vertically, this is plenty of space and should let you and 3 other friends get settled nice and quickly.
  • Money Transfer between players is possible in your local server-town. It is only tradable when converted to 'item-currency' so you can physically give it to another player. Every converstion to item-currency will cost you, so make it worthwhile!
  • Teleportation is DISABLED except for between server-town's. If you want to meet up with a friend, you will need to travel. It is suggested you locate your friends if you wish to build with them, BEFORE you settle.
  • When you first join the server, you are randomly teleported around the map. This ensures that the area near traditional 'spawn' doesn't become a mess. Oh yeah, there is no 'traditional spawn'.
